Case Studies
  • ural Domestic Sewage Treatment Project, Kunshan, Suzhou
    Project Background
In rural areas of Kunshan, including Bacheng Town, High-tech Zone, Zhoushi Town, Qiandeng Town, Zhangpu Town, Zhouzhuang Town, Jinxi Town and Dianshan Lake area, long-term direct sewage discharge has led to severe river siltation, black and malodorous water bodies and other pollution problems.
    Project Challenges
The project involves the new construction, renovation, operation and maintenance of sewage treatment facilities. Supumps implemented a full set of measures including sewage interception and lifting, contributing to the development of Beautiful Villages in China.
    Supumps Solutions
A total of 67 new integrated sewage treatment stations were built and 12 old ones renovated. All facilities have been completed and put into operation. Daily operation and maintenance are carried out via combined remote inspection on the monitoring platform and on-site patrols. Regular reports are compiled to record power consumption, water volume, patrol logs, equipment failure rate and effluent water quality, ensuring stable operation of all facilities.

  • Rural Domestic Sewage Treatment Project, Changshu
    Project Background
Though Changshu is a typical water town in the south of the Yangtze River, it is also confronted with water pollution challenges. Water pollution not only results in the loss of cultural and resource values, but also deteriorates living conditions, endangers public health and hinders the treatment of rural domestic sewage. Therefore, pollution remediation has become an urgent task.
    Project Challenges
In the past, large volumes of domestic sewage were directly discharged into rivers or flowed into farmlands along with rainwater, causing sewage overflow, breeding of mosquitoes and flies, and pervasive foul odors.
    Supumps Solutions
Supumps supplied 142 sets of sewage pump stations to collect rural sewage and put an end to direct discharge into rivers.

  • Shanghai Fudan University Early Stormwater Detention Project

    Project Name

Shanghai Fudan University Early Stormwater Detention Project

    Project Scale

    3,400 cubic meters

    Contract Signing Date

    April 25, 2025

Constructed by Shanghai Communications Construction Company, the project is located in the core area of Handan Campus, Fudan University, covering an area of 1,125 square meters with a total stormwater detention capacity of 3,400 cubic meters, serving the 0.4 square-kilometer core zone of the campus. Adopting an innovative three-compartment staged operation mode, the project integrates early stormwater pollution control, peak clipping of drainage system and rainwater reuse for landscaping. Supported by an efficient deodorization system, it completely solves the problem of campus waterlogging in rainy seasons. This project acts as a benchmark demonstration project for sponge city development and precise regional water governance in Yangpu District.
