    1. Project Overview

    Located at the intersection of Anlian Road downstream of Cuiping Road flood drainage channel, this dual-cylinder parallel integrated sewage and flood drainage pumping station is built for black & odorous water treatment of Cuiping Channel. The system consists of a Φ3.8 m integrated axial flow pumping station and a Φ3 m integrated prefabricated pumping station with a uniform cylinder height of 7.42 m. The design capacity reaches 326 m³/h in dry weather and 1.5 m³/s for flood drainage in rainy weather. Differentiated scheduling under dry and rainy conditions eliminates channel water accumulation, reduces clean water inflow into sewage pipe networks and fundamentally addresses black & odorous water issues of Cuiping Channel.

    2. Project Pain Points

    The Cuiping Road flood drainage channel covers a wide watershed with numerous pollution sources, imperfect pipe networks and poor hydrodynamic conditions. Affected by river bed slope and tidal water levels, water accumulated in the channel cannot be fully drained after rainfall, continuously forming black & odorous water. Massive rainwater and sediment flow into municipal sewage pipe networks, leading to long-term overload of sewage treatment plants and risks of excessive discharge.

    An innovative dual-cylinder parallel scheme combining integrated prefabricated pumping station and integrated axial flow pumping station is adopted for differentiated intelligent scheduling:

    *1. Dry weather mode: The sewage interception pumping station operates to deliver channel sewage to the sewage treatment plant for disposal.

    *2. Rainy weather mode: The sewage interception pumping station shuts down, and the flood drainage axial flow pumping station starts to discharge rainwater directly into Qianshan River to prevent urban waterlogging.

    *3. This operation mode effectively avoids massive clean water entering sewage pipe networks, reserves processing capacity for sewage treatment plants and guarantees stable sewage disposal.

  • Integrated Prefabricated Sewage Pumping Station Project for Nangang River Landscape Governance, Yueyang Economic & Technological Development Zone

    1. Project Overview

    As a key sub-project of comprehensive black & odorous water treatment for North and South Nangang Rivers in Yueyang Economic & Technological Development Zone, this project advances the Yangtze River Protection Strategy by implementing sewage interception renovation along Nangang River. One set of integrated prefabricated sewage pumping station is deployed with a cylinder diameter of 3.5 m and total height of 10.22 m. It has a dry-weather design capacity of 2,500 m³/d and rainy-season capacity of 10,000 m³/d, equipped with 4 submersible pumps. Pump effluent connects to the main interception pipeline on the south bank of North Nangang River, improving regional sewage collection efficiency to realize 100% sewage interception in dry weather, reduce pollutant inflow into the river and eliminate black & odorous water.

    2. Project Pain Points

    As an upstream river of Nanhu Lake, Nangang River suffers incomplete regional sewage pipe networks with raw sewage discharged directly into the river, causing severe black & odorous water and damaging the aquatic environment of the Yangtze River and Dongting Lake water system. The pumping station is to be constructed inside a pond with limited construction conditions. Continuous rainfall during construction brings high risks of foundation pit waterlogging and equipment hoisting & installation, coupled with tight construction schedules.

    The Φ3.5 m ×10.22 m cylinder adapts to foundation pit excavation construction inside the pond. Four pumps are configured to meet differentiated sewage lifting demands in dry and rainy seasons. The compact equipment occupies a small construction area with short installation cycles and can be integrated into riverbank landscapes. 

    *2. Supporting Intelligent Remote O&M System
