Project Background
Yangzhou thrives and excels for its abundant water resources. There are 154 rivers of Grade 1 to Grade 4 in the central urban area, with a total length of 735 kilometers, plus 460 rivers below Grade 4. To restore and enhance the flood retention, water diversion and drainage capacity of regional watercourses and improve the water environment, Yangzhou has actively carried out river regulation projects in recent years. The Hongqi River and Yiyang River have not been renovated for a long time, suffering from severe sedimentation, unstable and collapsed river slopes, black and malodorous water bodies and other problems. These issues have greatly impaired the flood drainage function of the rivers and caused severe adverse impacts on the rivers and surrounding areas.
Project Challenges
The rivers are heavily silted with black and stinking water. Sewage interception is required to eliminate river pollution.
Supumps Solutions
For the Hongqi River, one integrated sewage pump station with a design capacity of 24,000 m³/d is equipped, with an overall height of 6.9 meters. For the Yiyang River, two sets of integrated sewage pump stations are deployed, each with a design capacity of 105,000 m³/d and an overall height of 11 meters. They rank as the largest sewage pump stations in Jiangsu Province.
Application Category: Sewage Pump Station

Project Background
Pinggu District is located in the northeastern part of Beijing. As the largest river in Pinggu, the Juhe River boasts a well-developed water system. Most sections of the river are naturally formed with narrow upper channels, winding watercourses and poor flow conditions, resulting in low flood carrying capacity. Flood disasters frequently occur in its middle and lower reaches. River regulation is critical to protecting residents' lives and property in Pinggu urban area during flood seasons, improving the surrounding environment and boosting local economic development.
Project Challenges
The project needs to meet the requirements of flood control, drainage and sewage interception for river regulation so as to eliminate river pollution. Meanwhile, the structural strength and anti-floating performance of the pump stations must be fully guaranteed.
Supumps Solutions
Two sets of integrated sewage pump stations are installed, each with a designed capacity of 53,000 m³/d and an overall height of 15 meters. Steel sheet pile support is adopted for foundation pit excavation. The anti-floating effect of the pump stations is realized with Supumps's patented design.
