  • Beijing Daxing International Airport
    Project Background
    Beijing Daxing International Airport is one of the world's major newly built mega-airports planned over the past two decades. Its airfield features a ground transportation network of five vertical and two horizontal routes and an air traffic flow pattern of four inbound and four outbound flight corridors. Drawing on the eco-environmental concept of Sponge City, the airport has built a green drainage system integrating infiltration, retention, storage, purification, reuse and discharge.
    Project Challenges
    Regional geological data and hydrological monitoring records indicate that the soil, groundwater and surface water at the site exert slight to mild corrosion on steel bars within reinforced concrete structures.

  • Shapingba, Chongqing
    Project Background
    Chongqing is located in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River. All rivers in Shapingba District belong to the Yangtze River water system, and the local water environment is closely linked to the Yangtze River ecological protection initiative. The intelligent upgrading project for sewage lift pump stations along Shabin Road features integrated pump stations situated under an overpass, with fixed locations that cannot be adjusted. The pump stations stand 18.5 meters high. Excavation and backfill construction beneath bridge piers posed major difficulties for the project.
    Project Challenges
    As the core equipment of the project, the pump stations are required to realize intelligent automatic control and connect compatibly with the municipal intelligent drainage platform.

  • Shanghai Pudong International Airport
    Project Background
    Two sections of sewage pipelines running across East Qihang Road and the utility tunnel on the north side of Terminal T2 of Shanghai Pudong Airport are fully blocked, resulting in poor drainage. Uneven settlement of the power utility tunnel has caused misalignment of pipeline joints, which further led to pipeline blockage and subsidence. This has severely disrupted sewage discharge in the Terminal T2 area, and the drainage system of Parking Lot P2 has completely failed.
    Complete blockage of the two sewage pipelines will disrupt normal operations of the terminal. Sewage overflow in front of the VIP building has caused secondary environmental pollution and damaged the airport’s image. Pipeline subsidence and misalignment have also triggered soil erosion, leading to settlement and tilting of the windbreak wall, which poses potential risks to the safe operation of underground utility tunnels, other pipelines and the apron.
    Project Challenges
    Conventional pump stations require a large footprint, while the area under the overpass offers very limited available space. Severe pipeline blockage has impaired drainage, caused pollution and negatively impacted the overall appearance.

    One set of integrated sewage pump station with a designed capacity of 5,000 m³/d and an overall height of 13.96 meters was deployed. Equipped with our advanced control system, the pump station supports remote monitoring and unattended operation.
